Working under a tight deadline and limited budget, we turned to the Element 3D plugin for After Effects and their Metropolitan pack of building models to create the cityscape used in these Matrix-themed holiday messages. Managers from Intel, channeling Neo, Trinity, and Agent Smith from the film, were shot against greenscreens and composited onto the rooftops of the 3D environment. The simplified workflow of creating everything within After Effects helped us finish this job on time and on budget.
