Working under tight budgets, both of these opens incorporate some stock elements.

For the Oregon Sports Awards, produced around 2010, the dot grid background is a modified stock After Effects project. The OSA Trophy and all other elements were modeled and animated from scratch. 

The 3D “platform” for the 2017 Des Moines Register Sports Awards started as a stock 3D and AE element which we heavily modified by adding monitors and dot matrix sign boards. The trophy was modeled from scratch. The project required producing opens for over 20 locations, each personalized. We designed the project to facilitate efficient customization in After Effects.

For each program we also produced lower-third font templates, bumpers, graphic backgrounds, etc.
