This animation combines several styles of 3D animation to convey both the history and future potential of the OCP NIC ethernet standard. In collaboration with CMD we rendered CAD files and stock assets as grey shaded models, a technical, line-art style, and photorealistic representations, combining those elements with dynamic motion graphics. One of the challenges was sorting through the multiple models and mounting systems provided by Intel to create models that accurately represented these products.
