We created this series of animations to describe specific features of HP’s PageWide web press printers for sales presentations. We worked directly with HP engineers and technicians to get a thorough understanding of the technologies we were depicting, including observing and documenting the large presses in HP’s Corvallis test center. As we didn’t have clear access to the most inner workings of the presses for surfacing the CAD models we decided to transition to a stylized, line-art style technical render to depict the featured technology.
